Government of the State of Ceara supports the Mandela exhibition

Fortaleza, the capital of the State of Ceara, will be the first city in Brazil to receive the exhibition Mandela: from Prisioner to President and the Government of Ceara supports the initiative.

During a meeting with the President of the Brazil Africa Institute, João Bosco Monte,  and Christopher Till, Director of the Apartheid Museum, Élcio Batista, Chief of the Governor’s Office, said that is a great opportunity to discuss issues that Mandela had contributed so much for the humanity.

The exhibition will take place in Fortaleza at Dragão do Mar Cultural Center in June. The Director of the Apartheid Museum visited the facilities for the technical arrangements to set the exhibition in Fortaleza.

The exhibition arrives for the first time in Brazil for a five months season. Mandela exhibition is curated by the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, South Africa, and was conceived in 2008. It has already been seen for more than one million people in France, Sweden, the United States, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru and Luxembourg.
