Discuss about innovation and technology opportunities in Brazil and Africa, this is the proposal of the 5th Brazil Africa Forum: Trends in Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Development, which will take place on 23 and 24 November 2017 on Sheraton WTC in Sao Paulo. The event will bring together representatives of governments and the private sector, business leaders, potential investors and academics from all over the world, around different themes such as agriculture, health, education, infrastructure, financial services, social innovation and creative industry.

Among the confirmed speakers are important names as Brazilian Minister of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications, Gilberto Kassab; Minister for Youth and ICT of Rwanda, Jean Philbert; President of Afreximbank, Benedict Oramah, and Senior Director of Strategy and Operational Policies of the African Development Bank, Kapil Kapoor.

“Many of the challenges facing Africa, Brazil has ever faced. In addition to technology transfer, Brazil can contribute to the management to achieve its goals,” said João Bosco Monte, president of the Brazil Africa Institute. “Working in cooperation requires the understanding that Brazil’s place is not to teach, but to work together because there is much to learn. The intention is for our African partners to know us and make themselves known so that we can materialize ideas into concrete actions, not in the near future, but in the prosperous present.
