Director of IFAD, Ashwani Muthoo confirms participation at 6th Brazil Africa Forum

Ashwani Muthoo is the Director of Global Engagement and Multilateral Relations Division (GEM) of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). He has over 25 years of professional experience focusing on global policies and issues in the agricultural and rural sectors. His work experience covers more than 50 developing countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Part of this expertise will be shown during his participation as speaker at the 6th Brazil Africa Forum, which will be held in Salvador on November 22 and 23. Muthoo was previously Deputy Director in IFAD’s Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE). He also served as Officer in Charge for IOE in 2012-2013 reporting directly to the Executive Board. Ashwani Muthoo has a Master’s degree in Data Engineering and a Bachelors with Honors in Management and Computer Science from the University of Keele, United Kingdom.
