Afreximbank sponsors 6th Brazil Africa Forum
African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has officially become a sponsor of the 6th Brazil Africa Forum. The bank is internationally well known by its work in stimulating expansion, diversification and development of African trade.
Dr. Benedict Oramah
Afreximbank’s Chairman, Dr. Benedict Oramah, will be one of the speakers of the Forum. Dr. Oramah holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in agricultural economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He received a B.Sc. degree, also in agricultural economics, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has published a book, “Foundations of Structured Trade Finance”, and has written more than 35 articles on a wide range of African economic, trade and trade finance issues. He is a regular speaker in trade and trade finance around the world.
The 6th Brazil Africa Forum will be held in Salvador, Brazil, on November 22nd and 23rd, covering the subject Youth Empowerment: transformation to achieve sustainable development. The Forum is expected to bring together 300 representatives from governments, companies, universities and potential investors to exchange experiences and generate good opportunities for young people in Brazil and in African countries.
