The last issue of ATLANTICO Magazine is out now

The 13th issue of ATLANTICO Magazine brings an exclusive cover interview with former Ghanaian President John Kufuor. He talks about strategies for the development of the African continent and about the challenge to improve the economy of his country.

ATLANTICO also highlights the creation of the Aeronautics Center, an important research laboratory in the Azores that develops projects to uncover climate issues and to discover a new economic potential in the Atlantic Ocean. Still in science section, the magazine presents a Brazilian technology that uses fish skin to treat burns and other injuries.

This issue also talks about the importance of ABC, the agency responsible for Brazilian South-South Cooperation projects, shows how Brazilian social technologies can be an alternative to incarceration and brings an interview with the musician André Sampaio, who mixes rock with classic African sounds.

“Creating ATLANTICO is our way to show the expertise that Brazil Africa Institute has in putting people together around different ideias” says Gustavo Vieira, editor of the magazine.

Idealized by the Brazil Africa Institute, ATLANTICO is a reference in Triangular Technical Cooperation, especially in Brazil-Africa relations. Bilingual (Portuguese / English) and with quarterly editions, the publication is distributed to IBRAF’s partners and is also available for online reading on our website, Medium and Issu platforms.
