The Brazil Africa Institute (IBRAF) is proud to present its 2024 Annual Report, highlighting a year of impactful initiatives, meaningful connections, and significant contributions to strengthening ties between Brazil and the African continent. Through diverse projects, events, and programs, IBRAF has addressed shared challenges, advanced innovative solutions, and driven progress across key sectors.

The report features highlights such as the successful hosting of the 12th Brazil Africa Forum in São Paulo, the exhibition Mandela, Ícone Mundial de Reconciliação, held at the Brasília International Airport and the São Paulo Cultural Center, and the Institute’s strategic partnerships with the Government of the United Arab Emirates, TRENDS Research & Advisory (UAE), the Port Authority of Las Palmas (Spain), Bank of Amazonia (BASA), and more. It also recounts the Brazil Africa Institute’s active participation in international events and engagements, including the African Union Summit, the Afreximbank Annual Meetings, and the Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings.

Additionally, the publication details IBRAF’s ongoing efforts to support South-South cooperation, strengthen networks, and empower young professionals in Africa through capacity-building initiatives and knowledge-sharing opportunities, such as the Youth Technical Training Program (YTTP).
