The Brazil Africa Institute (IBRAF) is a non-profit organization that promotes international cooperation and engagement between Brazil and the African continent, advocating for the social and economic development of countries, aligning government agendas with private sector interests, and strengthening multilateral relations through South-South and Triangular Cooperation.


With proven expertise as a facilitator of best practices, IBRAF designs and supports initiatives that foster trade and investment, technical and scientific cooperation, professional training, and the advancement of academic research, all contributing to sustainable development.

IBRAF President chairs the executive departments and is responsible for overall management. We operate day-to-day under the leadership of the Presidency, with Offices covering: partnerships and development management, strategy management, project management, data and research management, communications management.
