Brazil Africa Institute expresses solidarity with the United Arab Emirates

The Brazil Africa Institute wishes to express its deepest solidarity with the Government and the people of the United Arab Emirates following the recent attacks launched against its territory.
As an organization dedicated to fostering international cooperation, stability, and sustainable development across the Global South, IBRAF strongly condemns any acts of aggression that threaten the sovereignty of nations and the safety of civilian populations.
Our Position:
- Commitment to Peace: We believe that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable paths toward regional and global stability.
- Support for Sovereignty: We stand with the UAE in its right to defend its borders and ensure the security of its citizens and residents.
- Call for De-escalation: We urge all parties involved to exercise restraint and prioritize the restoration of peace to avoid further humanitarian and economic impacts.
The United Arab Emirates has long been a pivotal partner in international development and a bridge for cooperation between South America, Africa, and the Middle East. At this challenging moment, we reaffirm our friendship and our unwavering support for the Emirati people.
