Conceição Nobre Cabral: leadership in combating poverty, promotion of health and women rights

President of NGO Scorpius-Centaurus and International Consultant, Maria da Conceição Nobre Cabral is Former Minister of Foreign Affairs International Cooperation and Communities and Former Minister Adviser of the Head of State for Human Development of Guinea-Bissau. She has over 30 years of experience working as a diplomat in United Nations, United States of America and Belgium. This experience will be shared during her participation as a speaker at the 6th Brazil Africa Forum, to be held in Salvador on 22 and 23 November.
 Highly devoted to international development, Maria da Conceição Nobre Cabral promotes projects throughout Africa in fields like Energy, Education, Housing, and Agriculture. As President of NGO Scorpius-Centaurus, she is deeply committed to improving lives of African women, children, youth, elders and handicap challenged by poverty and marginalization, helping render support in areas of education healthcare, specifically to help those that cannot afford vaccines and other medical and health services as well as schooling.
