AFC Live 2017 will discuss infrastructure

Brazil Africa Institute supports AFC Live, Africa’s Premier Infrastructure Summit, hosted by Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), that will take place on the 15/16 May in Abuja, Nigeria.

The presidents of Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda will be joining the Summit, adding to a great line up of speakers, people chosen for their expert knowledge and because they have seen through transformative projects in infrastructure, across Africa and globally.

AFC Live will bring together many key players in the infrastructure space, with a focus on power, including renewable energy, transport and logistics, telecoms as well as the extractive industries. The platform is being designed to challenge existing models and more importantly to bring different actors under one roof to share opportunities and broker deals.

On the project front, in attendance will be some of the biggest project developers as well as the authorities and ministries showcasing commercial projects that require investment. On the investors’ side, fund managers are expected to collectively oversee more than $ 400 billion in capital, seeking strong long-term returns.
