Starting countdown: six months left until 6th Brazil Africa Forum

In six months Brazil Africa Institute will execute the 6th Brazil Africa Forum. This issue will be held in Salvador, Brazil, on November 22nd and 23rd covering the subject “Youth Empowerment: transformation to achieve sustainable development”.

To mark the countdown from now on each fortnight Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network (CSAYN), media partner of the Forum, will bring you all the news regarding the event.

The details of the partnership between CSAYN and Brazil Africa Institute were setted in a meeting at IBRAF’s base in Accra, Ghana. Founder of the network, Ntiokam Divine was received by Eli Nove, Brazil Africa Institute’s administrative assistant. Also attended the meeting Professor Ayalneh Bogale, adviser of the African Union Comission, and Kassin Gawusu-Toure, Ghanaian coordinator of CSAYN.

The 6th Brazil Africa Forum should bring together 300 representatives from governments, companies, universities and potential investors to exchange experiences and generate good opportunities for young people in Brazil and in African countries.

Speakers include José Ramos-Horta, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, former president of Timor-Leste and member of the Advisory Board of the Brazil Africa Institute.

Brazil Africa Forum had its first edition held in 2013 and is established as one of the most relevant events in the segment. Last year, in São Paulo, the Forum gathered around 200 participants from 48 countries, who discussed issues related to technological innovations to promote sustainable development in Brazil and the African continent.
